That is why we use secure and reliable payment gateways such as Lightspeed, which use AVS check and other verification technologies to avoid fraudulent payments and guarantee the safety of your sensitive information. All of our payment processors are PCI-DSS validated Level 1 Service Providers, the gold standard for e-commerce worldwide.

 

How long will it take to process and ship my order?

 

Most orders will print and ship within 1-3 business days or less via USPS First Class Mail. Expedited shipping options such as FedEx Ground and UPS Canada, as well as E-certificates are also available.

 

How do you ship the commemorative cards? When will my card be delivered?

 

Your commemorative card should be delivered within 2-7 business days of receiving your shipping notification email. Please allow some extra production time for deluxe gifts with wood/glass framing.

 

What size and quality are the commemorative cards?

 

8.5 x 11 inches and ready for framing! Your cards are printed on sustainably sourced, 110 lb or heavier cardstocks that are acid free. This means your commemorative card won't yellow or fade with age. The paper used is a Green-e Certified product sourced from FSC-Certified forests. 

 

Are the tree seedlings planted professionally?

 

Yes, we only plant our memorial trees through trusted non-profits and tree planting organizations in Israel.

 

What types of trees will be planted?

 

Various hardwoods and species such as oaks, carob, redbud, almond, pear, hawthorn, cypress and Atlantic cedar.

Do you receive and retain records of the tree plantings?

​

Yes, we receive receipts as well as certificates of planting from the non-profits and tree planting organizations that we plant your trees through.

Do you plant fruit or olive trees?

​

No, we are not sponsoring any fruit or olive tree plantings in Israel at this time.

 

What sets HolyLandTree.com apart from other memorial tree websites?

 

Our customer service; we allow a high level of customization that other websites simply do not. You can add a photo or company logo to your card, include a personal message, poem or scripture, order multiple cards, or send the card to multiple addresses. We also have a strong focus on the environmental impact of the gift, from operating as a green company to carefully selecting our cardstocks.

 

Are your cards created by human card designers?

 

Yes. While it would be less expensive for us to send out auto-generated tree planting certificates, our customers enjoy being able to customize their gifts. Attention to detail and having someone available to fix any potentially embarrassing errors matters - especially when your tree planting is a memorial gift. 

 

I would prefer an E-certificate instead of a physical mailed card, is this possible?

 

Yes, we can produce a PDF certificate (that you can print out or email to your recipient) in lieu of a mailed commemorative card. You can order custom E-certificates here.

 

I want to order non-personalized plant-a-tree cards in bulk to give out in the future, is this possible?

 

Yes, we offer non-personalized plant-a-tree cards for purchase in our online store. These cards are shipped in lots of 10 (minimum) with matching blank envelopes. Buy Here

 

I didn't receive my card/made an error on my card, can you help me?

 

Please contact customer service and we will mail out a replacement/corrected card as soon as possible (always at no additional cost).

Is my tree planting gift tax-deductible?

No, tree plantings ordered through HolyLandTree.com are considered memorial gift purchases, not charitable donations.
